This is an impressive tradition that has been kept going over the years. Year 6 boys carry the statue of Our Lady, First Communicants get to wear their outfits once again and the girls dress in white to strew petals. We do always seem to have 'Cornish sunshine' unfortunately, but it doesn't dampen spirits. The main statue in the church is crowned by a specially chosen year 6 girl and there is a variety of prayers, hymns and devotions. Beforehand rosaries sell from the repository like there's no tomorrow!
