The Faith Movement

Here's why your parish priest travels great long distances every summer and winter. You might be able to spot one or two of our young parishioners.

The Faith Movement's mission is to show how true faith completes reason - how our religion is actually vindicated through science.  It is surely a great sign of hope for Catholicism in the U.K. - and the world!

  2. It is very inspiring, more so that it is happening in the land where St. Thomas More had offered his life, and in the land where Catholicism was very vibrant before the beginning of the English Reformation.

    1. Yes, we certainly need it here; we must be one of the most secularised nations now.
However, the unique charism of Faith movement is that it is able to show how our scientific culture can be harnessed to bring an extraordinary catechetical power and developmental potential to orthodox Catholicism.

  3. I've never heard of The Faith Movement. I did a search and only came up with The Word of Faith Movement which appears to be something different. Is it different and if yes can you link me with something that explains The Faith Movement. You've piqued my curiosity.

  4. Thank you.
Yes, it's a fantastic movement, but nothing to do with the 'Word of Faith Movement'. It was set up in 1972 by two priests and focuses its activity mainly on catechetical work with young people and publications, especially Faith magazine.
If you go to www.faith.org.uk/shop you can download our own catechetical pamphlets free - and there is much more information on the website.
